Industry Forum 2009

The NPRF engaged with industry at the Plumbing Industry Climate Action Centre, Brunswick on Friday 12 November 2009.  This Industry Forum provided an opportunity to provide members of the plumbing industry on current progress on a number of national issues of interest to the services trade.

Three key messages emerged during the day:

1. As we move towards a National Construction Code, will it lead to national consistency?  There is a strong need to ensure consistency in applcaiton and intrepretation to achieve potential resources.
2. Supporting actions are required -
1. Awarness and education of practitioners
2. Ongoing review and improvement
3. Administrative consistency - success with consistent technical requirmeents lweands to called for consistent administrative systems.
